On November 12-14, 2024, the International Exhibition Parking Russia was held in Expocentre in Moscow.
Parking Russia is a specialized exhibition focused on solving key tasks of organizing parking lots and parking lots at urban infrastructure facilities, municipal, commercial, industrial and residential facilities.
The exhibition annually brings together manufacturers and distributors of equipment and technologies to communicate with city authorities, owners and operators of parking lots, urban planners, infrastructure developers, builders, architects and other stakeholders for the development of the parking industry in Russia.
Innovative parking systems, parking equipment and automation systems, mechanized and automated parking lots, charging stations for electric cars, equipment and materials for the construction and operation of parking lots, services for searching, paying and monetization of parking spaces, services for the design, commissioning of parking lots and much more were demonstrated at the exhibition.

Following the results of the event, the presentation of the third issue of the Rating of Russian cities on the development of paid parking space took place. Speaking about the new issue of the Rating, Irina Rykova noted that the Dornadzor study rightfully becomes a reference book for city administrations, because it contains not only a Rating, but also practical recommendations and answers to difficult questions that arise during the project.
At the session "Comfortable Urban Environment: Innovations and prospects", experts examined in detail the best practices of urban transport planning and the concept of transport policy, parking management issues in residential and commercial facilities, the diversity and variability of the use of public spaces and urban development trends.
The IX Competition of innovative projects in the field of real estate GOOD INNOVATIONS 2024 congratulated the winners on November 12 at the exhibition site. The nominees included developments and projects of development, management, IT companies and architectural bureaus that took part in the fight for the title of the best innovation of the year.
The innovation of the IX Competition of innovative projects in the field of real estate is the nomination "Best parking space". According to the jury, the multi-storey administrative and industrial building with a parking garage, which was built by the state enterprise of the Krasnoyarsk Territory "Center for Transport Logistics", Krasnoyarsk, became the best.
The experts of the business session "Income from parking lots and their maintenance in shopping malls" revealed the issues of the problem in the design and construction of parking spaces, discussed modern solutions for organizing paid parking in shopping centers, analyzed examples of erroneous design of industrial floors in parking lots and the nuances of operation and commercialization of parking lots on the example of specific shopping malls.
A revolution is taking place in the parking world – modest rectangles of asphalt become not just a place where you can park your car, but also a place where you can refuel it. As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to grow, a new service should be added to the parking space — vehicle charging. We discussed how parking spaces adapt to electric vehicles at two events: the business session "New products in the charging infrastructure market" and the round table "Charging infrastructure in residential complexes".

From the legislative side, so far, the independent installation of EHS in built and commissioned houses for the owner of an electric car is a complex and long process, which not everyone reaches the end. There are two main barriers. The first is the technical requirements established by the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the code of rules for "Parking cars". The second is the need to coordinate the installation through a meeting of the owners of the premises in the MKD. Proposals are being prepared to simplify the regulatory framework.
The Moscow Transport Innovations Foundation held a session within the framework of the international exhibition "Parking Russia". In the first part of the program, a business session was held on the topic: "The use of artificial intelligence in parking." The moderator was Ivan Yunin, CEO of the TIM Foundation.
The participants discussed how parking can be improved using video analytics, integrate parking spaces into the smart city system, and improve the customer experience when using parking services.
